Blogger bonanza: Vixen Blog Awards 2012

Vixen Blog Awards has become a glamorous and wildy popular event for bloggers and fashionable people. On Valentine´s Day the 14th of February 2012- 11 winners were awarded amazing prices.

A flash frenzy took place by the photo wall at Folketeateret in Oslo before the show started. Even the «Hotel King» Petter Stordalen mingled with the top Norwegian bloggers in his plaided blazer. He handed out the price for «International Blog of the Year» to Angelica Blick on stage.

- I´m very occupied with fashion and interior design. I can reveal that I read lots of fashion blogs, says the billionare.

The guests and finalists had put on amazing outfits – that delighted the famous and world renowned blogger Yvan Rodic behind Face Hunter (facehunter.blogspot.com).

- I think it´s great that Norway is embracing bloggers. Think how it was for five to ten years ago – how the outfits were then. Blogging has created awareness of style, the famous photographer said.

Marianne Jemtegård – chief editor of Vixen Magazine – and the Eurovision Song Contest figurehead Per Sundnes were the presenters for the show. They got help from several celebrities and business people to hand out the following prices:

- International Blog of the Year: Angelica Blick (nyheter24.se/modette/angelicablick)

- Photo Blog of the Year: Maiken Bull ( maikenbull.blogg.no)
- Fashion Blog of the Year: Hanneli Mustaparta (hanneli.com)
- Best Outfit of the Day: Marianne Theodorsen (styledevil.faksimile.no)
- Makeup Blog of the Year: Malin – Makeup & Hair (mallo88.blogg.no)
- Inspiration Blog of the Year: Veronica from World of Mike (worldofmike.no)
- People´s Favourite: Ulrikke Lund (ulrikkelund.com)
- Blogger of the Year: Hanne Sigbjørnsen from tegnehanne (tegnehanne.no)

Julie from Fashiiondiaries has a genuinely unique and personal style, and was surprised and happy for winning the price «Newcomer of the Year» – getting a trip for two to Paris:

- I´ve always been interested in fashion. I love to shut myself inside my walk-in-closet and spend time with my clothes. I´ve inherited so many clothes from my grandmother and mother – like this vintage clutch from Armani, she beamed after the show.

Hanne Sigbjørnsen behind the cartoon blog “tegnehanne” became «Blogger of the Year» and won a diamond worth over 80 000 NOK. Se beat the famous bloggers Anette Haga, Caroline Berg Eriksen, Ulrikke Lund and Linnea Myhre.

- It was insane. I felt sick and happy at the same time. It was totally unexpected, she said to Vixen Magazine.

Julie W: – Dare to try something new. Try to mix something you didn´t think would work.
